Enhance Communication Skills for Healthcare Professionals

Synopsis
This interactive half-day workshop provides healthcare professionals with a structured and evidence-based approach to strengthening their communication skills in clinical practice. Through a combination of brief lectures, guided discussions, and practical role-playing exercises, participants will learn how to navigate the most essential—and challenging—conversations in medicine.

Key topics include shared decision-making, verbal and non-verbal communication, cultural competence, effective risk communication, delivering bad news with compassion, demonstrating empathy, addressing patient misinformation, and communicating clearly with individuals with low health literacy.

By the end of the session, participants will have gained practical tools, increased confidence, and refined strategies to enhance patient understanding, foster trust, and support high-quality doctor–patient interactions.

The Training Workshop will commence in early 2026.
