Privacy and Responsible AI in Mental Health Roundtable

Co-organized with Centre of AI in Medicine (C-AIM) & Institute of Mental Health (IMH)

Privacy and Responsible AI in Mental Health Roundtable

As AI continues to shape the future of mental healthcare, conversations around privacy, ethics, governance, and responsible innovation are more critical than ever. This roundtable brought together diverse perspectives to examine how we can harness AI’s potential while safeguarding trust, patient rights, and data integrity.

We were honoured to have clinicians, researchers, policymakers, industry partners, and patient advocates in the room. The breadth of expertise reflected the truly interdisciplinary nature of this important discussion and reinforced that responsible AI in mental health must be co-developed across sectors.

Thank you to all who contributed their insights and commitment to keeping humanity at the centre of AI innovation in mental health.
